Part2. Creating SCCM Packages

We already created the the single package, pdf and sms files that we need for main setup. SAP 7.4 has also a patch that I need to install. I copy the patch file (exe) into SAP7.4 folder under the folder named GuiPatch.

We will create 2 packages, one for base installation and the other is for patch.

Right click on Packages on SCCM console and create a new package 

If you want installation to be silent you can use the switch /silent instead of /noDlg. Run Mode must be Run with Admin rights. 

Lets create the package for the patch

Distribute SAP7.4 and SAPPatch7 packages to the DPs. Right click on the packages and select “Distribute Content” and complete the wizard.

Packages are ready, now we need deploy them to a collection. 

After you install SAP you can check the version. It should be like below.
